Product Overview

OS-EASY Distributed Desktop Cloud is a brand-new solution for the centralized management and maintenance of large numbers of computers. It enables unified management and maintenance of large-scale, distributed, and heterogeneous terminals, allowing for unified remote deployment and updates of desktops. Management and maintenance personnel can remotely manage the data center without being physically present. This solution is primarily applied in relatively complex scenarios such as video playback, audio-based exams, 3D graphics rendering, numerous external devices, unstable networks, and the reuse of older PCs, delivering superior performance and making teaching smoother, learning more efficient, and management easier.

Product Architecture

Core advantages

Remote Image Build & Deploy from Web Console

Create and deploy desktop images remotely in three simple steps. With P2P acceleration and broadcast modes, deployment runs at up to 100 Mbps – fully automated, no on‑site staff required, and no local master machine needed.

PC Repurposing and Unified Deployment

Leveraging virtualization technology, the system installation of image templates is completed within the management platform. A single template can be deployed to endpoints across different batches and hardware models.

Unified Registration for Large-scale Software

Software registration and activation are completed centrally in the cloud, eliminating the need to activate licenses on each individual machine.

Unified OS Deployment Across Heterogeneous Endpoints

Leveraging intelligent driver technology, driver installation is completed in batch across all endpoints, ensuring a consistent operating system regardless of hardware diversity.

Offline Desktop Availability

Supports complex and distributed network environments. When endpoints go offline, teaching desktops remain fully functional. Upon network restoration, teaching data automatically syncs back to the cloud, ensuring continuity of instruction.

Multi-Desktop Environment Support

A single endpoint can host multiple desktop operating systems, providing a system selection menu that allows students from different majors to access their respective teaching desktops. This enables a single computer lab to serve multiple purposes, meeting the needs of various professional teaching, examinations, and self‑directed learning.

Cross‑Campus Deployment

Deploy cloud servers across multiple campuses and manage every region from a single IP – easily switch between regions or add new ones. This enables a unified campus‑wide cloud desktop platform, streamlining cross‑site deployment for the entire school.

Built‑in Shared Disk

The shared disk feature supports automatic cleanup on a weekly or monthly basis. When enabled, designated teacher desktops and student teaching desktops automatically mount a "Shared Materials" area, where teachers have read‑write access and students have read‑only access, as well as a "Materials Upload" area, where students can upload files but cannot view others' submissions, while teachers can read all uploaded materials. This facilitates efficient storage of teaching data and convenient sharing of educational resources.

Software‑Based Wake‑on‑LAN

Supports Wake‑on‑LAN for endpoints across VLANs entirely through software, without the need for third‑party hardware devices.

Unified Identity Authentication and Integration

Accounts are unified across multiple systems, enabling a single account to seamlessly and automatically mount resources across platforms. The solution can integrate with the school's user authentication system to achieve single sign‑on

Class Schedule Plan

To accommodate multiple usage scenarios in computer labs, the solution offers flexible class scheduling. A dedicated desktop environment can be assigned to each class session. Once the schedule is activated, students simply power on their devices and are automatically presented with the correct teaching desktop, enabling seamless automatic switching of desktop environments.

Fast and Smooth Desktop Experience

Faster than a PC – concurrent boot‑up, swift operation, instant screen broadcast, and seamless scenario switching. Enjoy a premium teaching experience with smooth HD video and interactive online classes.
